The DPx5PD (or 135x5PD) is a heavy-duty industrial needle system featuring a specialized titanium nitride coating for "Perfect Durability". It is the long-lasting variant of the standard DPx5 needle, designed specifically to reduce heat buildup and wear during high-speed sewing of abrasive or dense materials.

The DPx5PD shares identical dimensions with the standard DPx5, ensuring it fits machines without requiring mechanical adjustments.

Coating (PD): A hard titanium nitride finish that allows the needle to last 3 to 5 times longer than standard chrome-plated needles.
Dimensions: Features a round shank with a diameter of 2.00 mm and a length (butt to eye) of 33.9 mm.
Point Shape: Most commonly features a Regular Round Point (R) for woven and synthetic materials.
