DPX16TRI (also known as 135x16TRI or DPx16D) is an industrial leather needle system featuring a triangular point. This design is engineered to cut a triple-edge hole, making it the most aggressive cutting point in the DPX16 series for heavy, unyielding materials.

The DPX16TRI system is designed for maximum piercing power in industrial settings:
Stitch Appearance: It creates a perfectly straight seam. Because the triangular tip cuts more material than a wedge point, the thread typically sits slightly elevated on the surface.
Piercing Power: The triple-edge triangular tip provides excellent cutting ability for hard, dry, or thick leathers.
Material Compatibility: In addition to leather, it is highly effective for sewing through synthetic materials, cardboard, and plastic.
Machine Compatibility: It is a standard system for industrial walking foot (compound feed) machines. Common compatible models include the Juki LU-1508N, Juki DU-1181N, and Consew 206RB.
