The 332LGLL (also known as the 332LL, 29x4 NTW, or DIx4) is a specialized industrial needle system designed for leather sewing on unique machinery, most notably the Singer 29K "Patcher" series.
The "LL" Point: Left Narrow Twist
The LL (Left Narrow Twist) point is a specialized leather-cutting tip.
- Cutting Action: It cuts the leather at a (45^{circ }) angle to the left in the direction of the seam.
- Stitch Appearance: Produces a straight seam where the thread sits slightly elevated. The resulting stitch holes are mostly filled by the thread, creating a clean, closed-seam look.
