This machine is used for edge skiving and whole skiving of leather, artificial leather, vinyl and any thicker style material. This machine is used on purses, shoe uppers, bags, belts watch straps belts, sheaths, and leather upholstery. The 2" (50 mm) blade allows you to remove excess thickness from your material and when the knife gets dull, there is a separate clutch for engaging the blade sharpener.
