Tex 45 Nylon thread is a strong, inexpensive thread for bags, upholstery, gloves and other products where you don't want the focus to be on the thread but has more strength than TEX 30. It can replace a normal thread on a household machine with little or no tension adjustments. Also known as Government B or CBB46, this thread has a break strength of 8lbs and the minimum needle size is #90/14. Spools are 250g (8 oz/1/2 lbs). Black and white can also come in 500g (16oz/1 lb). Each 250g spool contains approximately 5000 meters, 500g spools contain approximately 10,000 meters.
