Kids/Youth Rag Quilt Class - South - Lisa

Morning class: Ages 8-12
Afternoon class: Ages 13-17
Students will be using our classroom machines.
Supply List for Students:
- Machine needle (recommend microtex)
- Thread
- Stitch ripper
- Flower Head pins
- Thread snips (Scissors)
- Marking Chalk
- 45mm OR 60mm Rotary cutter with new blade
- 8.5” X 24” ruler
- Rag Snips (OR Spring loaded scissors)
- Twin Size Batting: 80/20 OR Cotton. DO NOT buy polyester batting.
- (Optional) Klutz Glove
Fabric Required:
**This quilt is best when Flannel is used. Cotton will give a similar result as Flannel and would be a good second choice. Minky fabric will result in “frays” not fraying as this quilt is intended. Store sample uses Cuddle (similar to minky). DO NOT buy fleece or fireside.
Students can choose how many different fabrics they want. The table below is the amount of each fabric you will need based on the number of different fabrics you choose.
