BERNINA: Pinpoint Placement - Trapunto Tote - Roberta Wynnyk - WEST
Trapunto is a traditional needlework where areas were ‘raised’ using different methods. Here is an opportunity to try trapunto in a brand new way! You will be guided by an expert on how to use the Pinpoint Placement function on your BERNINA Embroidery machine, and will transform metallic vinyl, and a special interlining, to create a 3D textured surface that reflects light in every direction. Take what you learn and apply it to future projects that require rehooping.
Must have a Machine with PinPoint Placement: B 990, Any 7 Series Plus E or Pro E
Long Hoop: Magnetic Large, Magnetic Border, Giant, Jumbo, Maxi
Class includes a Tote Kit (Includes: Gold Vinyl, lining, interfacing, stabilizer, thread, findings, and designs).

| Instructor Bio: | Roberta Wynnyk comes to us from BERNINA of Canada where she has worked since 2004. She has always loved creating at the machine and started by sewing clothing for her dolls and then herself. Her hobby lead her to the University of Alberta where she graduated with a BSc. in Clothing and Textiles. As life progressed, her sewing focused on home décor, children's wear and then teaching others what they could do. She is an accomplished seamstress and loves using digitizing software and embroidery on her projects. She has ventured into quilting and has written a Ruler Work technique book. Her favorite thing is working on BERNINA’s top-of-the-line machines and equipment and sharing what she has learned. |
