Tessellation - with Lisa - West

Supply List:
- Machine in good working order
- 1/4” foot
- microtex machine needle
- Cutting Mat
- Rotary Cutter with new blade
- 24” quilting ruler
- 6” or 12” quilting ruler
- neutral thread (grey is a great blender)
- washable glue stick
- Add a quarter Ruler (recommend 12”)
- Stitch ripper
- Paper Scissors
- thread snips or small scissors
- Flower Head pins (Size FINE)
**Optional:
- Clover Fabric Folding Pen
- Acorn Easy Press Fabric Treatment
Fabric Needed:
For the blocks:
Color 1: 1 Metre Dark, 1 Metre Light
Color 2: 1 Metre Dark, 1 Metre Light
Color 3: 1 Metre Dark, 1 Metre Light
Color 4: 1 Metre Dark, 1 Metre Light
0.8 Metre For Center of block, Border & Binding
HOMEWORK: **Pre-Class Cutting:
If you do not know how to rotary cut fabric, please e-mail mardanmom@gmail.com and I will send you a tutorial.
Prior to class please cut the following strips, and place them in labeled Ziploc bags:
From each of your “color” fabrics:
3 Strips at 1.25”
3 Strips at 1.5”
6 Strips at 1.75”
3 Strips at 2”
2 Strips at 2.25”
From your “center, border & binding fabric” cut 1 strip at 2.5”
Bring any remaining fabrics to class
