Quilted Sneaker - Ron Collins - South
Now here is a cool and creative way to add to your shoes collection with people saying, “I can’t believe you made them!!!”. Using the sneaker kit from Fabriculous which has been designed by Wendy Van der Walt; it comes with an improved pattern, construction techniques and rivets. The pattern comes with the kits, so no need to download the pattern; the construction and rivets techniques are like no other, which simplify the construction.
The European design sneaker sole kits allow you to create your own quilted pattern that is available in unisex shoe sizes ranging form 36-47 (EU), with the choice of three different sole colours (black/white/natural) and three different heights (low/medium/hi-top). Be creative and choose contrasting fabrics for the shoe, tongue and lining.

Supply list:
- Pre-order before class a Sneaker Kit; for sizing and colour choices go to Fabriculous.com
- .5 meters of fabric if you want the same fabric for the shoe, tongue and lining or for contrasting shoe, tongue and lining, .2 meters of three different fabrics.
- Shape Flex 101 fusible woven interfacing - 1 meter (available in white or black)
- Soft and Stable - .5 meters (available in white or black)
- Thread for quilting
- Sharp scissors for notching curves and cutting
- 505 adhesive spray
- Sewing awl
- Pins
- Sewing gauge
- Fabric marking pen
- Pencil
- Sewing machine in good working order with basic sewing feet, power cord, foot controller, along with a quilting seam bar attachment
- Hemostat or needle nose pliers
- Thimble/Silicone Grip Thimbles
- Sewing Clips
Please have your fabric pre-quilted before coming to class
