Beginners Quilting - Spin me Round - Wheel Chair Edition - Mila - WEST
This course is to give you the opportunity to create a wheel chair friendly quilt top with a pocket. The pattern is called Spin Me Round and is very diverse, allowing for various block sizes. We will be making 12” block, with the final quilt size around 47” square. By playing with four distinctive, gradual colours you will achieve a unique impression. With the two bottom corners cut and adding handy pocket, this quilt is a perfect setup for the wheel chair user. Written instructions and lots of tips will be included. Some homework might be required.

Tools:
- Machine in good working order, with manual
- Cutting mat, rotary cutter, 6”x24” ruler, 12”x12” (or similar) square ruler
- Snippers, scissors
- ¼” foot for piecing, and/or walking/stich-in-a-ditch foot
- neutral colour thread for piecing, matching colour thread for quilting
- pins, safety pins, fabric marking pen/pencil
- pen and paper for notes
Fabric:
- 0.5m in 4 gradual (dark to light) colours
- 0.3m accent fabric for the centres and pocket
- 0.3m for sashing and inner border
- 0.5m for outer border
