Beginner Bra Class - Michelle - West 1

Join Custom Bra-Maker Michelle Noble to learn how to sew your own bra! Did you know it is possible to make a bra that fits, and is comfortable? It is! Michelle will fit you, and adjust a pattern for you in advance of the class. During the class there is enough time to sew your first bra, and then Michelle will check to see if any further alterations are needed for your pattern. Kits will be available to purchase to get you well on your way to sewing your second bra during class. A kit valued at $80 is included in your class price.

Supply List: many of these items are available for purchase in the store.

• tracing paper for tracing pattern preferably plain, no lines (available in the store)
• scissors or rotary cutter & mat for cutting out (available in the store)
• wash-out marker, air erase marker (available in the store)
• pins (available in the store)
• seam ripper (available in the store)
• thread snips (available in the store)
• zig-zag sewing machine (you need a machine that can sew a zigzag, and preferably a 3-step zigzag as well), a foot pedal & power cords (your sewing machine must be in good working order)
• machine needles, stretch 75/11 (available in the store)
• pencil, eraser, scotch tape and pen (for tracing patterns and making alterations to patterns)
• edgestitching or topstitching foot (optional but nice to have. And available in the store)
• coloured polyester thread (I prefer the Mara Guterman 100 thread, which is not available in the store)
• stitch in the ditch foot (optional but nice to have)
