Learn to Sew for Youths, Beginners --SPRING BREAK EDITION - Nancy - WEST

In this introductory class for youths, students will learn to use a sewing machine and serger.  They will use a pattern and learn to identify pattern symbols.  Project would include: a pencil case and a stuffie.  A sewing machine and serger are not required as they will be provided for this class.  

Supply List: 

Pins (colored heads perferred)
Pin Cushion
Seam Ripper
Seam Gauge
Marking pencil or chalk (Washable)
Fabric scissors
Trimming scissors/clippers

Fabric requirements:

Pencil Case:

2 - 40 cm x 30 cm cotton
 - matching cotton thread

Stuffie dog or bunnie: The stuffie bunny/ dog or bear needs 0.6 meters low pile fun fur, plus fiberfill
 - matching cotton thread

ALL fabric should be pre-shrunk (Fabric should be washed and dried)
