Supply List:

• Sewing machine in good working order with usual accessories (you must know how to use your machine)
• All-purpose cotton or polyester sewing thread
• size 14 sewing machine needle
• regular zipper foot
• point turner
• 3/4 yards (.7 meters) of lightweight fusible interfacing* ie. Presto Sheer brand from Central
• one front separating zipper 22" (56 cm) or 24" (61 cm)- OR  measure center front of jacket to get length you want or child’s length
• 2 x 20 cm long closed end zippers for pockets
• Sharp Scissors
• pins
• tape measure
• See thru pressing cloth
• fabric marker
• pen & notepaper
• wash a way Wonder Tape*
• Ruler: “WondweClips”

• Medium to heavy weight woven fabrics such as denim, twill, nylon, polyester, linen blends, Preshrink if plan to launder fabric..
• Medium to heavyweight ribbing – 40 cm by width with 50% crosswise stretch. Look for ribbing with spandex or lycra for best recovery.DO NOT PRESHRINK.
• LINING FABRIC: Light to medium weight lining fabrics such as cotton sateen, silk habotai, rayon bemberg,  or polyester lining. Bring extra for pockets
• Pattern – Mccalls 7637 view A or Burda 123, issue 10/15; Child -McCalls 7619. Jali and StyleArc have download patterns..
• At home, cut out your pattern size; make all pattern adjustments. Suggest making a trial garment first. Then cut out main fabric and lining pieces. DO NOT cut Ribbing. Any question call/text Pat 780-298-6737.
