Come join serger expert, Pat, for a few hours as she shares her best methods for perfecting techniques such as serging in the round, attaching elastic for waistbands, beautifully pointed corners, serging knits like a pro; specialty stitches and many more! During this class, you will gain confidence by building a notebook of serger techniques that you can use on almost any project you can imagine.  When you maximize your serger’s potential, you maximize your own, too!

What to Bring: 

• Serger in good working order and all accessories; threaded. You must know how to use your machine.
• Instruction manual
• 3 cones of good quality serger threads- in color to contrast with your fabric
• Size14 sewing / serger needles;     > Fabric marking tool
• Scissors; pen; notebook/paper to mount samples; scotch tape or 2 sided tape
• 10 , 8” squares of cotton fabric (quilting fabric is good)
• Serger seam ripper; large eye hand needle
