This class is ESSENTIAL for knowledge on binding! Nothing finishes off a beautiful quilt better than a beautiful binding. Learn how to do the basic double fold French binding, a wrapped binding and continuous bias binding for a quilt with curved or scalloped edges.

Supply List:
- sewing machine and usual sewing supplies (machine must be in good working order and you must know how to use it)
- ¼” foot for machine
- fine straight pins
- fabric marking pencil
- thread to match binding fabrics
- mat, cutter and ruler
- 6” x 24” ruler with 450 markings
- 9 ½” or 12 ½” square if you have one
- small sharp scissors
Fabric requirements:
- You will make several different samples. Small potholder size squares would be a good choice of items to attach the binding to. These would be usable items later. For a quicker sample, use pre-quilted fabric.
