Stack N Wack Using Panels - Mila - West 1



As kids we all liked kaleidoscopes, colourful and full of amazing shapes. You could have fun creating one with Stack N Wack technique using 6 identical panels. The resulting quilt will be something unexpected and wonderful. Please join the class to create these unique lap size quilts and restore your memory of the kaleidoscope from your childhood. A lot of fun is guaranteed.

Supply List:

Tools:

  1.     Sewing Machine in good working order, with manual, power cord, foot control and all accessories. You must know how to operate your machine at a beginner level.
  2.     Cutting mat, rotary cutter, 6”x24” ruler, 12”x12” ( or similar) square ruler, 60 degree ruler a must
  3.     Snippers, scissors
  4.     ¼” foot for piecing, and a stich-in-a-ditch foot/walking foot
  5.     neutral colour thread for piecing, matching colour thread for quilting
  6.     pins, safety pins, 505 spray, fabric marking pen/pencil
  7.        pen and paper for notes

  1. 6 identical panels, each maximum 0.6m wide
