Are you new to quilting and looking for a class to get you started...this course is to give you the opportunity to create a wheel chair friendly quilt top with a pocket. The pattern is called Spin Me Round and is very diverse, allowing for various block sizes. We will be making 12” block, with the final quilt size around 47” square. By playing with four distinctive, gradual colours you will achieve a unique impression. With the two bottom corners cut and adding handy pocket, this quilt is a perfect setup for the wheel chair user. Written instructions and lots of tips will be included. Some homework might be required.
This Tuesday class is for the confident beginner. Join Tessa and classmates in making a garment from a pattern. She will discuss, pattern selection, fabric selection, and then move on to assisting students to completion. Previous student can take the class again with a new pattern to help increase your confidence with your sewing.
