This model is a high speed, single needle machine with upper and lower feed lock stitch with a large hook. It is recommended for man-made leathers, vinyl coated cloth, leather, rubberized cloth, sponge-lined cloth, denim and other medium to heavy-weight materials. It is used on bags, luggage, purses, wallets, tents, car seats, gloves and other small leather goods.
Quiet, efficient and durable are just some of the qualities that would describe this single needle LONG ARM machine with upper and lower feed and a large hook. It is often used in upholstery and awning applications. The feed mechanism is adjustable for use on single layers, though to heavier seams by the turn of a dial located on the front of the machine. Unique to this machine is the oil-bath which helps maintain a long, prosperous machine life. Arm clearance is 335 x 150 mm
The KM-590BL is the staple machine in the upholstery industry. Unison feed (top, bottom, and needle-feed) help to propel the materials through the machine. This workhorse sews even some of the heaviest materials with ease. Large side load bobbin, semi-automatic oiling and long stitch length (9mm) make this machine a must for your sewing room.
